Originally from the surf town of Newcastle, Nicole later raised her children in the outback of Western Australia while studying a double degree in women’s studies and psychology, intending to become a writer, when photography quietly altered the direction of her life.

What began as a single elective soon became an award-winning career grounded in beauty, truth and emotional storytelling.
